Taiwan Day 12 - The Team Has Arrived... Time for English Camp!
Hello everybody!
Sorry for not updating you for the past couple of days. On Friday, I left Chiayi to go back to Taipei for the weekend to take a couple days of rest. From Friday to Saturday, Kevin Wang, a new seminary intern for Chinese Evangelical Church's Mandarin congregation, took me around to try a lot of Taipei food, visit some famous landmarks, and shop in gigantic malls and night markets. On Saturday evening, Cindy and I headed to the airport to pick up the rest of the team. From Sunday to Monday, we had team bonding site-seeing and cultural tours! Here are some pictures of what we did!
The Zhangs happened to be in Taipei at the same time so we met up and ate dinner!
Kevin and I met up with Alice Yeh and Anna Ger and went to check out the outdoor market, Shen Keng.

The rest of the team arrived on Saturday evening. We attended church the following morning :D.
We had the opportunity to go on top of one of the world's tallest skyscrapers, Taipei 101!
PC: Anna Ger. This is our Gondola group!
Here is the view from our Gondola. This ride was about 15 minutes long and went up the MaoKong Mountains.
Josephine, Auntie Yann, and Auntie Julie share a beautiful moment together as they search through the MaoKong Outdoor Market.
We went back to Dalin, Chiayi, on Monday evening and have spent today preparing for our English camp which starts tomorrow (7/8/15). Please pray that:
- We will spread God's love and His Gospel to the children that we are teaching.
- Praise God that the Harbours had a big turnout for their new Mandarin Church service this past Sunday!
- Praise God that the typhoon that was heading towards us was diverted a little. However, we will still receive a lot of rain and thunderstorms.
- Pray that our team will remain healthy and united!
